Announced at the AES Show in Berlin, in Germany, AMS Neve has released the DAWSYNC plug-in for the DFC3D console. This new plug-in provides an elegant and simple solution for Machine Control integration with Pro Tools.
The DAWSYNC plug-in creates an instant lock between the Pro Tools timeline and the DFC3D automation, so that audio, video, and console automation instantly start, stop and roll together without a delay, and without any complex sync setups or extra hardware.
DAWSYNC plug-in also provides a virtual 9-pin interface for transport commands, track arming, and PEC/Direct switching from the DFC3D to the Pro Tools DAW.
Using an Ethernet connection the DAWSYNC plug-in is easy to set up and ready to go in moments. DAWSYNC already being used on major mix stages in the USA.
The DAWSYNC plug-in is available to all DFC3D users on request.
