What Is The Joystick Module?

The module is an option for both the Avid S6 M10 and M40 and was created to address user feedback for the need to integrate a joystick for surround panning with the modular S6 system.
 
Dual non-motorized, touch-sensitive joysticks are provided for surround sound mixing, enabling the user to dynamically place audio sources in surround fields. Pan and joystick locations are shown via a 3.2-inch TFT display, while two multicolor LED top-lit encoders, 16 panning mode switches with colour LEDs provide feedback for controlling positioning, divergence, and more.
 
The Joystick Module is Identical in size to the S6 Knob Module. When used in combination with the new Mini Filler Panel it can be placed in the slot of a Fader Module.
