Sknote AAX DSP Kickstarter Project Not Successful But It's Not All Bad News

The end of the Kickstarter project by Sknote to test and see if there is an interest for new AAX DSP plug-ins has pass and unfortunately has not met the target. However all is not lost, Quinto plans to continue work on AAX Native plug-ins.....

It was an interesting experiment. I got a great insight on HDX and the surrounding world. As I wrote in the last update on kickstarter, I'd like to underline how this is not over, It looks like still isn't time for us to start with AAX-DSP. More than the goal itself, the amount of discussion generated and feedback received during the campaign makes us think we don't have to potential user base that could justify such an effort today. The DSP plug-in world is extremely interesting but we need a solid starting point. I guess our upcoming AAX Native releases are going to change everything.
I want to send a big thank you to all the pledgers. Your contribution was important for us. This is not over! Whilst you will be getting back your contributions, you can still help to get this done! Just involve more DSP users and tell them to write an email to sknote.it. Kickstarter is not the only way to go, general involvement by a potential user base is what could convince us it is worth it.

Quinto is planning to release his first AAX Native release once they get back from AES in New York and we understand that will their Disto plug-in.
