Last month we ran a competition where the first prize was a FabFilter Total bundle and we are pleased to announce that Steve Collins is the lucky winner. 

I’m extremely happy and surprised! I have been a Pro Tools Expert site member for over 3 years now. I listened to every podcast you guys ever made. I visit the site at least twice a day. Thank you to the whole TEAM for your work and sharing your knowledge! It helped me a lot!

I have been producing, recording, composing and  mixing all genres of music for the last 30 years, almost full-time.  Also experimented by producing a music video.  I was working on some documentaries and full feature movie what was awarded for Best Soundtrack in film festival.  I’m always working with many local and international musicians and occasionally I do some live mixing. 

Lately I’ve been trying to spend less on software and so I’m very happy to win The FabFilter Total Bundle. I have always admired and wanted to have them.  I have watched countless reviews on YouTube that always made me envious. I have used many of the FabFilter demos and I especially liked the sound quality of de-esser, compressor and EQ.  How with this prize I can finally start using them everyday.

Ash Read - Runner up - Wins FabFilter Pro-C 2

As well as the FabFilter Total Bundle we also offered a runners up prize - a copy of FabFliter's Pro-C 2 Compressor plug-in and we can now announce that Ash Read is the runner up.

I've been a sound designer for video games for 5 years. I have an entirely 'in the box' workflow, therefore its important for me to have to best tools I can to help make the game come to life. The Pro-C 2 would be the ultimate addition for my toolkit. A lot of times I need surgically treat material as fast as possible and the transparency, flexibility and clarity of this plugin makes it a fantastic go-to for bringing out whatever details I need. I cant wait to use this on future projects!

Working in game audio you are expected to have a fast turnaround with audio content. Sometimes a mix can get cluttered and the Pro-C 2 compressor plugin by FabFilter can help me quickly bring out whatever details I need to help the mix sit well within a game. I'm also a huge fan of slick, animated and informative interfaces and this plugin is pure eye candy to me.....I love it!
