Pro Tools First Offers Authorisation For 3 Machines

See this content in the original post

Pro Tools First, the new free version of Pro Tools uses the iLok machine activation technology which means that you can activate it on a machine without needing physical USB iLOK inserted into your machine.

We made some enquiries about how many activations were allowed and it seems that one user account can be authorised to up to 3 machines. As long as you have a copy of ILok Licence Manager installed on your machine and sign in with the account where your Pro Tools First is deposited then that machine will also run a copy. We've tested the theory and it does work.

This is useful for those who want to have a copy on a desktop and one on their laptop, or of course share it with friends in the band.
