OverTone DSP have started to release their catalog of plug-ins in AAX Native 64 format for Pro Tools. To begin with, they have released their PTC-2A Vintage Pultec EQ plug-in as well as their FC70 vintage Fairchild limiter plug-in.
OverTone PTC-2A Pultec EQ Plug-in
The PTC-2A is an affordable emulation of this most sought-after vintage EQ. Separate Boost and Attenuate controls allow simultaneous low frequency boost and cut, replicating the signature Pultec sounds while a transformer-coupled valve amplifier emulation further enhances the vintage qualities. The plug-in is available in AAX Native, AU, VST, and VST3 formats on both Mac and Windows platforms and is priced at $60.
OverTone FC70 Fairchild 670 Limiter Emulation Plug-in
OverTone have used measured data and schematics from genuine hardware, so that the FC70 plug-in replicates the fully balanced transformer-coupled signal path combined with an innovative delay-free feedback topology which mirrors the original analogue design. The plug-in is available in AAX Native, AU, VST, and VST3 formats on both Mac and Windows platforms and is priced at $60.
