Paul starts off by clicking in the solo filter and adjusting the damping control to listen to the problem frequency. Paul then adjusts the presence control to bring back in some high frequencies and then looks at the oscillator to add some moment.

The Harshness Control allows you to eliminate unpleasant high frequencies from complex signals and mixes.  Based on M/S (Mid/Side) processing, it imparts a tube-like analog smoothness and is a boon for mix engineers looking to tame unpleasant digital harshness on individual tracks.
