Aspen Media To Help You Get Fit at BVE London

In a bid to help their customers achieve the 10,000 steps a day recommended for health improvement while tracking their heart rate and exercise stats, our friends at Aspen Media are giving away a Fitbit Charge HR heart rate and fitness wristband on stand G30 at BVE. Just leave your business card on their stand and you could be the lucky winner. The Fitbit will track your workouts, active minutes and steps, heart rate, calories burned, and so you could be a newer fitter you before you know it.

But Aspen Media are not all about fitness, they have got a load of new products on their stand.

Loudness

Anthony Wilkins, Jünger Audio’s International Sales Manager will be on the Aspen Media stand demonstrating a selection of their range including D*AP8 TAP EDITION; an 8 channel loudness manager and audio processor that includes Spectral Signature dynamic EQ for matching vocal “fingerprints”. TAP I/O options include SDI, Audio-over-IP Dante and MADI. Dolby decoding and encoding options are also available.

Still in the loudness vain and also from Jünger, over very own 'Mr Loudness' - Mike Thornton will be reviewing the Level Magic plug-in soon here on Pro Tools Expert.

This software plug-in developed in conjunction with Flux: Sound & Picture Development incorporates Jünger’s Level Magic™ loudness management processing, providing an interesting audio processing package for loudness monitoring and control applications. The plug-in is compatible with all common DAW platforms and is available in mono/stereo and 5.1 versions. Watch out for Mike'e review coming soon.

Audio Over IP

Aspen Media will also be showing the DELEC DIO and NIO 0204 which we highlighted recently here. Mike will be reviewing them here for Pro Tools Expert ahead of BVE as the units he has are needed for the Aspen Media stand at BVE. In the meantime you an read more about the DELEC units here.

Monitor Controller

BVE will also see the UK launch of the VMC-102 an advanced studio monitoring controller from Japanese manufacturer Tac System.

The Tac VMC-102 is a compact, free-standing unit that includes all the standard monitoring functions – level, mute, dim, speaker selection, talkback, etc. What's more for Avid S6 users there's a version that slots neatly into your S6. The VMC102 is also built for Dolby Atmos or MPEG-H immersive film, post and broadcast sound mixing in studios using Pro Tools, Avid or Pyramix systems,

The VMC-102 is designed for those needing to graduate to mixing with stems – removing the frustrating restrictions imposed by the simple single-5.1-input monitoring sections of most consoles or controllers.

MADI Monitoring

Claudio Becker-Foss from DirectOut Technologies, will be introducing MADI.MONI a handheld MADI line checker that includes a headphone jack allowing any mono or stereo pair of the 64 MADI channels to be monitored.

Claudio played an important part in the development of the MADI.MONI’s sibling ANNA-LISA, which is a handheld MADI signal analyser and generator, that can show an in-depth analysis of the MADI signal via an Android device.

BVE runs between February 23rd and 35th at London's Excel centre. Perhaps we will see you there?
