News - Universal Audio Partners With Abbey Road Institute

Our friends at Universal Audio have partnered with Abbey Road Institute providing recording hardware and software for Sophisticated Educational Programs and Seminars.

This new partnership enables Abbey Road Institute facilities throughout Europe to effectively educate their students in the art of recording with Apollo audio interfaces and UAD Powered Plug-Ins. This alliance provides Abbey Road Institute students full access to these industry-standard recording tools, helping them develop their creativity and music production skills.

UA's Apollo Twin interfaces can be found at every workstation thus equipping students with UAD realtime processing.

The course incorporates the vast technical and creative heritage of Abbey Road Studios — the most famous recording facility in the world and a global music icon. The curriculum was developed by audio educational specialists in conjunction with Abbey Road Studios engineers. It covers all aspects of music production and engineering, focusing on three main areas: sound engineering, production techniques, and the music business. This full-time program is taught by respected music industry experts while giving students access to state-of-the-art production and recording facilities.

“Music producers are all influenced by the music they admire, but then they make it their own. Our programs are designed to perfect that process: we believe in learning legendary production techniques, and then finding your own voice.”

says Rudi Grieme, CEO of Abbey Road Institute

“Universal Audio's legacy of high-quality products is a perfect match for our programs. Our students get full access to their classic plug-ins, used by professionals in the industry, which they can incorporate in their own productions.”
"We are proud to collaborate with Abbey Road Institute to educate and promote the next generation of music performers, producers, and recording engineers. ARI and UA share the same vision and both names stand synonymously for excellence.”

said Bill Putnam Jr., CEO and founder of Universal Audio.

“We are excited to become even more involved in their young artist development programs.”
