Finnish manufacturer Amphion Loudspeakers will be announcing the shipping of MobileOne12 at NAMM 2017 on their booth 6314. Their portable studio monitor system is designed to enable audio engineers and producers to take the Amphion sound with them anywhere they go.

The system features the compact One12 studio monitors along with a pair of Amp100 mono block amplifiers and Amphion’s professional grade speaker cables, all housed in a sturdy wooden travel case padded to ensure easy and safe transportation.

The One12 monitor speaker utilises a 1" titanium dome tweeter set in a Corian waveguide aligned with a 4.5” custom designed SEAS woofer, delivering what they describe as "surprisingly tight and even lows for speakers with such a small footprint". This approach, together with a very low crossover (1600Hz) they say "ensure a rock solid “phantom” center image, exceptional time and phase coherence, spectacular 3D soundstage and imaging, and an extremely wide and deep sweet spot". Anssi Hyvönen, founder and Managing Director of Amphion Loudspeakers continues....

One of the really nice things about the One12 is that you can listen to it up really close if you need to. I think of it as a large pair of high-resolution headphones which are very comfortable to wear all day long, but also allow sharing the experience with the production team while taking the room out of the equation.
