Ian Heginbotham Wins Platform M+ with Platform D2

I’ve been playing music and recording since my early teens back in the eighties when all I had was 2 hi-fi tape machines. I sing, play guitar and fumble my way around other instruments too. I’m married and have a daughter and also a full time job away from music but have my home studio where I spend most of my free time writing and recording. I also find myself spending a lot more time learning recording and production techniques with online tutorial videos these days. (I love your you-tube channels).

I’m currently working on three different album projects, two for my own bands and one for someone elses band. I love digital recording and the ability to edit and recall, however I find working with just a mouse when mixing is painful and really miss the faders and pan knobs. The Icon Platform M+ with Platform D2 will allow me to both speed up the mixing and automation aspects and also to give me back some of the sense of “feel” when mixing the albums.
