Dan's Thoughts On The Manny Marroquin Signature Series By Waves

At first, I felt these plug-ins were all a little too simple, however, after using them for a short time I quickly understood each of the controls and how they impacted my tracks for the better. I must say these are extremely capable tools that I found added a lot of depth and musical character to my tracks. The plug-in that stood out to me the most was the Manny Marroquin Delay as the results in the mix didn't sound intrusive or overcooked. The Manny Marroquin EQ has a set of really nice filters that gently shape audio without obliterating the body and tone of instruments such as acoustic guitar and keyboards. The Tone Shaper is a powerful parallel processing tool that does a good job of controlling dynamics however, I feel this plug-in series is missing a traditional compressor plug-in. I would like to see a Manny Marroquin take on a compressor plug-in with similar controls to the great sounding Manny Marroquin Distortion.
