Resonant High and Low Pass Filters

The Mus EQ's High and Low bands can operate as resonant filters. This ability to dial in a little (or a lot) of gain at the frequency just below or above the corner frequency of the filter and then have the level roll off progressively beyond that is a really useful feature, So many times we find ourselves dialling in boost just above a high pass filter, a resonant filter builds this in allowing simple control of frequency and boost from just two controls instead of using two bands of EQ.

Band Bypass Shortcut

Although there is only one global bypass control in this plug-in, using CMD+Opt (Ctrl+Alt on PC) and clicking on a band's control a band bypass behaviour is available. Not apparent from the UI and really useful.

Trim Pots In Linked M/S Mode

As well as offering the ability to link the channels in conventional stereo L/R operation, the channel linking feature is available in M/S mode too. While linked M/S EQ sounds identical to linked L/R operation using the trim pots is it possible to manipulate the levels of the M and S channels and control the width of the stereo image.
