Before we get angry emails and comments, this is obviously a mock up. What isn't fake news though, is that the masters of pitch and time manipulation, zplane, are to release elastiquéAAX 2.0, with it bringing integration with the multi-tool and a brand new setting especially for dialogue manipulation. 

This will be Free to all existing elastiquéAAX customers, and will form part of a service release for Pro Tools in July.

The main reason for the delay has been that integration into the Pro Tools multitool requires an update to Pro Tools itself, rather than an update just to elastiquéAAX. zplane have taken this opportunity to improve even further on their already excellent plug-in.

I have already switched to using elastiquéAAX, despite it not yet having this integration, as it just sounds so much better than anything else available.

Dialogue editors and music editors alike will find the TCE multitool integration and the specialist dialogue tools invaluable. I'm almost tempted to uninstall X-Form.
