Pro Tools Expert has been given some exclusive news from our friends at Audient. Audient are very pleased to announce the launch of a new online creative hub called ARC. Audient has designed ARC to be the go-to place for current and future registered Audient hardware owners. ARC will be a one-stop-shop for deals, full versions of Pro Audio software, training courses, audio services and plug-ins - all for free.
What's Included In ARC
Audient partnered with Eventide to offer Audient users both the UltraChannel and UltraReverb plug-ins. These two Eventide plug-ins have an RRP of over £350 - ARC members get them for free.
Training will be at the heart of ARC. Users will find two free courses from Producertech. The first is The Complete Guide To Compression by Rob Jones that covers everything from tracking to buss compression. This is a great beginner tutorial for understanding the dark art of compression.
The second free course is The Producers Guide To Vocals. No matter how great a song is, a song will never cut unless the vocal lines are nothing short of stunning. This video course takes you through the "dos and don'ts" of recording and mixing killer vocal tracks.
It's all very well producing great mixes but without a great master, a song will never get taken seriously. ARC members get 10 free masters from LANDR worth over $120. LANDR, the online mastering service provides fast mastering that takes music to the next level.
For those who might be new to audio production, it's worth mentioning that Steinberg are offering not only Cubase LE9 but also the iPad app Cubasis LE2.
ARC Launch Date
ARC officially launches Wednesday 5th of July 2017 at 12 noon UK time. ARC will be available to all current owners of Audient gear be that an owner of a tiny Audient iD4 interface or the mighty ASP8024 console. ARC will also be available to anyone buying future Audient hardware products as well. The team at Audient have told us that ARC will not be just another marketplace for cut-down plug-ins or upgrade offers, no ARC will be much more than that. Audient has developed ARC to be a place for Audient users to learn new skills, get inspiration and ultimately develop creative and technical skills to make better music.
You can find out more about ARC at the Audient website.
