Plugin Alliance has announced a new plug-in from Unfiltered Audio. SpecOps is a spectral Processor, using the power of FFT analysis to slice up and process audio into potentially thousands of individual "Frequency Bins" and offering detailed control and countless options on how to process them in a patchable modular environment. Imagine a modular synth for audio sources but with digital levels of tweak-ability.

Plugin Alliance describes it as dozens of plug-ins in one. Inside its easy-to-use interface is a plug-in containing 36 diverse spectral effects, ranging from subtle to extreme. How you use these tools is limited only by your imagination: transform synthesizer presets, add throbbing grunge to drum loops, fatten up instrument tracks, delicately clarify full mixes, or decimate organic instruments and vocals beyond recognition to create one-of-a-kind special effects.
