Tegeler Audio Manufaktur Announces Raumzeitmaschine Reverb At NAMM 2018

Tegeler Audio Manufaktur has expanded into the area of reverbs with their unique take on the technology combined motorised controls, plug-in control, valves and digital components and announced the Raumzeitmaschine Reverb.

What Is The Raumzeitmaschine?

The 'space-time machine' has been designed to create a spatial sound that sounds very natural, transparent and clear on the one hand, but also has a nice sound on its own on the other hand.
They have achieved this through the unique combination of digital and analog components. There is, of course, a processor that calculates the reverb, which is then enriched by the typical analog sound of our devices.

Unique Operating Concept

The Raumzeitmaschine user interface has been designed to provide direct access to the right sound with only three parameters. Instead of plodding through hundreds of parameters, not always really knowing what you are doing, you're just turning the sound the way your mix needs it. they describe this as "an operating approach as with a real musical instrument".

Presets

They have chosen to omit the complicated preset management directly on the device. The Raumzeitmaschine is equipped with servomotors and so is remotely controllable by their plug-in in your DAW like Pro Tools or Studio One. Conversely, changes directly to the device also appear immediately in the Raumzeitmaschine plug-in. This means you can use the preset management in your DAW or the Raumzeitmaschine plug-in.

Remote-controlled

All controls of the Raumzeitmaschine are equipped with servomotors. You can control it directly at the front panel, by the unit's own web page or by the DAW plugin (AAX, AU, VST).
Because the Raumzeitmaschine connects to your computer via Ethernet, there is no limit on cable length like over USB. It can even work wirelessly via your router as well.

Tubes?

Yes, tubes! The space-time machine has two double triodes per channel as well as input and output transformers. That's why there are only analog inputs and outputs, not digital ones. If you like it fatter, you can even try to override the tube input stage.

Pricing And Availability

The space-time machine is "Made in Germany" and costs 2.699,00 EUR incl. 19% VAT. with the first devices expected to be available in the next few days. As always, Tegeler Audio Manufaktur offers you the opportunity to try out the Raumzeitmaschine Reverb for 14 days without obligation in your own studio.
