In this free video tutorial, brought to you with the support of Waves, we continue our series of videos in which we set out to discover the best Waves plug-ins for mix bus and mastering applications. In this episode we check out Waves Infected Mushroom plug-in.

Made in collaboration with the EDM production powerhouse duo Infected Mushroom, Pusher provides an easy to use toolset of enhancer processors which enable users to quick impart sheen and weight to mixes. In this video we use Pusher to bring up the low mids in a mix as well as the overall presentation and vibe.

The controls are as follows:

• Low – Enhance low frequencies and choose where the processing begins based on note or frequency. Perfect for getting kicks and bass instruments to drive through the mix.

• Body, High – Enhance the mid and high frequencies

• Magic – Excite and boost the dynamics of all frequencies at once. Good to use on drum groups or full mixes

• Stereo Image – Widen the stereo image of higher frequencies

• Push – Push your mix to the max by clipping or limiting. Perfect when mastering.
