We have noticed a number of sound effects providers are putting out some free sound effect libraries or samplers for a limited period over the Christmas holiday period. Most of these are time limited so do not delay. Get them before they are gone.

Mindful Audio Holiday Freebies 2018

Last year George Vlad received a lot of great feedback for the 2017 Holiday Freebies library so he thought he would do it again. Over the past 12 months he has traveled to several countries and habitats, from the Arctic Circle to the Equator and from Eastern Europe to Western US. As a result he has released several libraries using recordings from these travels, and he is currently working on a few others that should be out soon.

The Mindful Audio Holiday Freebies 2018 contains 17 ambiences totaling more than 95 minutes, all at 24/96 quality and recorded in the following locations:

• Congo Basin rainforest

• Central African savanna

• Ethiopia

• Scottish islands

• Scottish highlands

• San Francisco

• Brighton

• Transylvania

• Sweden

• Norway

You can use these recordings in your projects as you’d use any commercial library, George asks that you do not repackage or sell them “as is”.

The files will be up for a couple of weeks (or until he runs out of bandwidth) so make sure you download them soon.
