In this free video tutorial for Pro Tools Expert, Technical Editor James Ivey shows you how to control, fatten and enhance the bass end of your mixes using the Slate Digital AirEQ Earth Module for the Virtual Mix Rack. 

James starts by explaining some of the issues he has been having with this particular track translating well onto large arena size PA systems.  Using the Slate Digital AirEQ Earth Module, James shows how to change the filter slop, choose a cutoff frequency and then give that frequency a little resonance push to help define but not overpower the bottom end of the track and cleaning out all the unwanted real low-end sub energy.
