In this first episode we show you how to quickly gate and remove rumble from the tom tracks using Waves C1 and how to remove unflattering resonances from snare tracks using subtractive "corrective" EQ. The kick drum in this example sounds a bit flabby, we show you how to focus the tone of a kick using Waves PuigTech EQP-1A, a passive EQ that can boost and attenuate the same frequency.
