Pro Tools doesn’t ship with a stock tremolo plug-in. While some amp sims have tremolo not all do. There are also some third party tremolo plug-ins, but with a little lateral thinking, it is straightforward enough to make a very configurable tremolo effect using the Avid Channel Strip plugin and some Pro Tools know-how, which is far more flexible than using the Pencil Tool to draw in volume automation.
