Autoglide is a Pro Tools Ultimate only feature, which is usually used when working in immersive audio formats, as a result, it isn’t going to be well known by users who work only in stereo but it offers an interesting alternative to the usual suspects when creating tempo-synced panning effects.
What Is Autoglide?
Autoglide is a Surround Panner mode, which lets you quickly write automation by clicking in the panner rather than manipulating the panner controls. This is really powerful in surround or Dolby Atmos but with some additional steps, it can be used in a stereo project. Find out how in this premium video tutorial.
