Avid Eucon 2020.1 Bug Fix Software Released - Could Pro Tools 2020 Be Around The Corner?

Avid has announced that the EUCON 2020.1 software update is now available for download, designed to bring improvements and fixes to the Avid S1 and Avid Control app, as well as bug fixes for other surfaces like the S3, S4, S6 and the Dock.

Having read the Release Notes, the only improvement we can see is improved fader ballistics on the Avid S1. Everything else seems to be bug fixes. Check out the list…

What About Pro Tools 2020?

Although Avid doesn’t need to release the first version of Pro Tools 2020 until April, 9- days after NAMM 2020, this could be the precursor to an imminent release of the next version of Pro Tools. We shall see.
