While most of us have dropped an insert onto the top snare track before, this only puts a reverb onto the top snare mic, and top snare mics, taken out of context, usually have issues.

The sound is typically a sort of “poc” which doesn’t sound much like a snare drum and even on a close mic like this there is always bleed from the rest of the kit.
