Those of us who use orchestral sound libraries to augment Logic’s own internal collection are very familiar with the Vienna Symphonic Library. Their iconic brand is known for its incredibly playable and expressive orchestral instruments. What many of you may not be aware of, however, is that in recent years they have updated the front end interface for their newer instruments. No longer hosted in Vienna Instruments, Vienna now has a new front end they call Synchron Player. It hosts a variety of their new libraries. It is extremely intuitive and flexible, and easy to set up with complex routings and real-time performance control.
They have a great special on until the end of March 2019 on their Synchron libraries. They are offering a discount of up to 35% on their entire collection of Synchron Series products. Including, strings, brass, percussion, piano, and drum libraries. The current special includes eleven products in total.
They also offer “Synchron-ized” libraries, containing re-edited samples from their Vienna Instruments series, customized and mapped for the new Synchron Player. Four Synchron-ized products are currently available at discounted prices: Synchron-ized Chamber Strings, Synchron-ized Appassionata Strings, Synchron-ized Dimension Brass I & II, and the full Synchron Package, which includes all Synchron Series and Synchron-ized products at a reduced bundle price.
If you’d like to see Synchron Player up close with Logic, take a look at this video, demonstrating it with their new Vienna Smart Orchestra.
