UVI's New Drum Designer Makes It Easy & Quick For You To Get That Perfect Electronic Drum Kit Sound In Your Head Into Your Mixes

Have you ever struggled to get that particular drum kit piece sound that’s stuck in your head down into your productions or mixes? It isn’t easy, especially if you are using a hugely complicated drum sample library for the job.

Often, when we are in the creative pursuit of a certain kick or snare sound we typically load an instance of a drum VI which will load up a variety of kit pieces that we don’t need. This takes up valuable CPU resources and, of course, what’s the point in loading up 4 or more tom hit samples that are not likely to be used.

UVI’s latest instrument Drum Designer is smart by providing users with two workflows within the instrument. Users can either load an entire kit (containing kick, snare, claps and cymbals only) and program their grooves within the built-in sequencer using global effects or they can use an instance of Drum Designers on individual kit pieces and tracks within their DAWs.

Watch the video to see how quickly Drum Designer enabled us to find kit pieces and to learn how the software works.
