The team from UK console and interface manufacturer Audient recently visited the musically amazing Graham Coxon (of Blur fame) to find out how he wrote and recorded the soundtrack for the hit Channel 4 and Netflix series 'The End Of The F***ing World'. Graham talks through how he recorded the song 'Walking All Day' at his home studio in London. This is a great interview that we felt was appropriate to share with the Production Expert.
In this video, Graham talks about how he records in his home studio using a simple approach using very minimal equipment starting with just one microphone on acoustic guitar.
He also talks about his inspiration for some of the songs in the series, taking the lead from the images and following the emotional path with the feel, instrumentation and arrangement of the music.
This is a video for anyone who still believes that TV and Movie soundtracks are only made in big scoring stages with vast orchestras and huge budgets. Graham shows how it can be done by one man in his modest home studio.
