Brainworx Audio Plugins & Solid State Logic (SSL) have announced a new partnership and new officially branded bx_console SSL 4000 E/G plugins!

While the Console E and G plug-ins from Brainworx already covered the SSL E and G series mixers, this is a total reworking of the modelling. In addition to this improved modelling there are a couple of new features, notably controls to adjust V Gain and THD across all instantiations in a session allowing the user to easily drive the virtual console hotter or pull back if things are getting too dirty.

A favourable upgrade path for existing Console E and Console G owners will be available. More content on these exciting new products will be coming to Production Expert very soon, and of course its now officially endorsed by SSL, they said:
