We’ve always been big fans of Maag Audio. their EQ products, both as hardware and as software emulations are simple and just so useable. The undisputed star of the EQs is the Air band, which gives us the ability to dial in sweet top end extension without harshness.

The Magnum compressor from Plugin Alliance offers two serial compressor sections, the Magnum comp and the K comp, a parallel EQ with LMF and Air band, and a soft limiter.

The plug-in offers all the facilities of the hardware with added L/R and M/S Stereo capabilities, 20 different, analog channels modelled using TMT (Tolerance Modeling Technology) and several convenient plugin-only features like M/S Stereo Width and Mono-Maker.
