Slate Digital Announce Raven MTZ 43" Multi-Touch Monitor Control Surface

Slate Digital put out a tease recently saying that they were announcing 5 products today, the first day of NAMM 2019. Earlier we told you about 4 products and now we can tell you about the 5th - the Slate Raven MTZ multi-touch control surface.

Back in 2012, Slate Media Technology realized that in order to get an immersive studio workflow, there wasn’t a solution they were satisfied with to turn a monitor screen into a world-class control surface. As A result they developed the RAVEN, a multi-touch monitor designed to integrate seamlessly with DAW software.

Today Slate Digital is proud to announce the next evolution of the large format professional RAVEN Series, the RAVEN MTZ, priced at $2,999.

They describe the new Raven MTZ as their “sleekest, most ergonomic and feature-packed Raven ever made”.

It comes with a 43″ projective capacitance no-bezel panel with ten ultra-accurate multi-touch points. With a depth of only 1.5″, they are positioning the MTZ as “the ultimate solution for the modern professional studio”.

The first RAVEN MTZ is to be installed in the world-famous NRG Recording Studios Mix Room C, where it will replace an older large-format analog console.

The MTZ will also feature multiple desk options made by manufacturers such as Zaor, Argosy, Sterling Modular, and more.
