Last month we offered you the opportunity to win the entire Arturia V Collection version 7. A suite of 24 classic keyboard instruments that have been painstakingly reproduced in software using Arturia’s advanced TAE and Phi modelling technologies that perfectly recreate both the sound and feel of these legendary instruments.

The lucky winner is Jacob Allen Harley of Middleton, Wisconsin, USA.

“I'm very excited to get my hands on the Arturia V Collection!! I've worked in almost every aspect of audio, from live FOH to audio post for video content and everything in-between. My full-time job now is as a sound designer for games at Raven Software.

As a sound designer, synthesizers are an awesome tool for me, but one that I haven't spent nearly enough time truly digging into and mastering. Having great sounds on tap means I'm much more motivated to dig in and inspired to work!

With the V collection, I think I'm most excited for the analogue synths; I anticipate that they will provide some awesome, gritty source for my sound design. However, I am also stoked to get my hands on the pianos and all the interesting keyboards. I work on music as well (mostly mixing) and I can see using them to spice up mixes when I'm given dull or bland source. The sound of many of the instruments in this collection is so ingrained in our collective memory and culture; it will be a really powerful and inspiring tool and I can't wait to start using it!”
