In an update to their macOS 10.15 (Catalina) support for Pro Tools, Sibelius, Media Composer, EUCON, and Avid NEXIS, Avid has announced Catalina support for Sibelius 2019.9 as well as Avid Link 2019.10 with support for Pro Tools and Media Composer listed as ‘Coming Soon’.

Avid Advise Pro Tools And Media Composer Users To Remain On macOS Mojave

Avid is still working closely with Apple in order to support macOS 10.15 Catalina as soon as possible. In the meantime, Avid recommends Pro Tools and Media Composer users continue to use macOS Mojave and earlier until further notice.

What is also interesting is that Avid is now referring to upcoming support for the new Mac Pro with a dedicated column listing support for the new style cheese-grater as ‘Coming Soon’.
