Dante And AES 67 Come To RTW TM7 And TM9 TouchMonitors

On the run up to NAB 2019 next week in Las Vegas, RTW have announced new versions of their TouchMonitor TM7 and TM9, which now have Dante AoIP support, including an AES67 mode with up to 32 channels of audio and redundant network support.

Up To 32 Channels At 96 kHz

A TouchMonitor with Dante connectivity is now able to work with up to 32 audio channels up to 96 kHz sample rates. Even better, the selected sample rate does not affect the channel count so irrespective of the sample rate with the new RTW TouchMonitors you will be able to keep your eyes on up to 32 channels across the IP Audio Network at any given time. As well as Dante support the new TouchMonitors have an AES 67 mode, for maximum compatibility.

Check The Network Status With Your Eyes

As well as being able to measure the likes of Loudness, True-Peak, Correlation, and Frequency Distribution, with the new TouchMonitor Dante units you can now get instant visual feedback on the overall status of the audio network. This makes troubleshooting and identification of potential problems, that may cause critical downtime, quicker and easier

Redundant Network Support

In broadcasting, reliability is essential. With that in mind the new Dante TM7 and TM9 units support redundant network connectivity to ensure that users are always able to get an overview of their audio.

Routing Made Easy

The new RTW TouchMonitor TM7 and TM9 with Dante now automatically detect and adapt to Dante channel names, which makes setting up the audio metering system on the network much easier.
