Avid Eucon 2022.9 Control Surface Software Released

Avid has announced the release of their Eucon control surface software v2022.9. We have the details.

Avid is pleased to announce the release of EUCON 2022.9, which is a compatibility and bug-fix release for EuControl/EUCON Workstation and S4/S6 Master Module software.

You can download Eucon 2022.9 from your Avid Master Account or the Avid Download Center.

Eddie Jones, who is Senior Principal Product Manager at Avid for the S1/S6/S4 Mixing Consoles, and responsible for the initial design, additional modules, UI, and software, said on the Avid Control Surface Users Facebook group

“This is a compatibility release we need to do, to support new hardware components in S4/S6 due to current supply chain issues. There are no new features for EuControl but as the EUCON software is one installer we had to do a full release. Watch out for a feature release before the end of the year.”

In the release notes, there are some more details on what they have had to change due to supply chain issues…

“S4/S6 Master Module software version 2022.9 adds support for the new Portwell motherboard found in all new Universal Master Modules and Display Modules.”
