Create Your Own Virtual Instruments With Studio One's SampleOne XT

In this video for Studio One Expert, Brent March shows us how he takes a Kalimba sample he has recorded and turns it into multiple virtual instruments Studio One's Sample One XT.

SampleOne XT is a full-featured sampler that builds on the strengths of our original SampleOne instrument. Use it to sample, slice, loop, stretch, and deconstruct audio. You can set imported audio to follow the song tempo, map multiple samples across your entire keyboard, and export multi-sample instruments from Sample One XT to be used in other software, such as Bitwig Studio and Sample Robot.

What we love about SampleOne XT is that it has the ability to create a huge variety of and unique sounds. It has an old-school sampler kind of feel to it and is an extremely creative tool, especially if you love to record your own samples or have hard drives full of samples that never get used.

Treat SampleOne XT a bit like a synthesizer, every time you open it up and you can be sure to create fresh sounding patches for your music.
