For this week's Free Plug-in, we are featuring SC BitCrusher From Stagecraft Software, a plugin which builds on the standard Bitcrusher effect and adds modulation and stereo spread.

What Is SC BitCrusher?

SC BitCrusher allows you to control bit rate, rate reduction, and stereo spread (with visual feedback). We’ve also added a filter section on the noise to allow you to alter the characteristics of the noise, taking it from white (full spectrum) to pink, or anything in between. The addition of an LFO on the filter even lets you sweep the noise for a truly unique effect.

The SC Bitcrusher plugin features full automation of all parameters (noise, rate reduction, bit depth, wet/dry mix). This powerful feature unlocks the full potential of the plugin, allowing you to create more complex and expressive sounds than possible with manual tweaking.

How Do I Get This Plug-in?

Go to the Stagecraft Software Website using the button below and download the installer. You’ll need to give your email address to authorise the plugin with a free serial when you first use it. This plug-in is available for mac and PC in VST, AU and AAX. It doesn't require an iLok.
