  • Fixed a hang that would occur when creating paths in the Dolby Atmos tab when certain accessibility features are in use (PT-321440)

Delay Compensation (MIDI)

  • Fixed a bug where initial notes of an Instrument track with Chain In plugins may be skipped (PT-320602)

  • Stacking multiple MIDI plug-ins on a track will no longer add extra buffers of latency (PT-320459)

  • Improved delay compensation accuracy when using MIDI Thru with Chain In in session with high latency (PT-320506)

  • Tempo synced VI's will once again be in time if a hardware insert is present on the track (PT-320155)

  • Tempo synced MIDI generating plug-ins will now be in time if other delay inducing plug-ins are inserted later on the track (PT-320056)

  • Improved timing accuracy for tempo synced plug-ins if there is delay in the session (PT-317056/PT-263943)

  • Online track bounce and commit of tempo synced VI's using Chain In will now be in time if done after an offline bounce or commit (PT-320241)

Import

  • Import Session Data now imports correct MIDI routings (PT-317458)

Installer

  • Installing Pro Tools no longer brings up minimized windows or resets the OS background on macOS (PT-320312)

macOS Sonoma

  • Fixed an issue where the menu would stop scrolling in the middle of the list (PT-318989)

  • Edit and Mix Window scrolling is now prevented on macOS Sonoma while a menu is open (PT-319070)

  • Voiceover commands for navigating menus are supported on macOS Sonoma (PT-319499 / PT-319494)

  • Sounds In Sync scripts now interact with menus on macOS Sonoma (PT-312667)

  • Pro Tools Audio Bridge will now show up immediately after installation, without a reboot, on macOS 14.4 and higher (PT-321583)

MIDI

  • Fixed a bug where MIDI notes may be skipped if hitting save during recording to an audio track (PT-320601)

  • Fixed a bug where during the recording of an instrument's chain out to a MIDI track, the first note of MIDI may be skipped depending on the amount of MIDI FX plugin and hardware buffer size (PT-319992)

  • Duplicating an instrument track now maintains the relative targeted VI Chain Out assignment (PT-320147)

Performance

  • Instrument tracks are now running at the highest possible H/W Buffer size during playback when they have a Chain In input.  They will use the H/W Buffer size set in the playback engine when record enabled or using MIDI Thru.  This optimizes performance for playback, while reducing latency for record or live input (PT-320458)

  • Fixed an issue that could cause audio drop-outs when using the MIDI Chain In with high CPU usage (PT-319733)

Plugins

  • Recording, Commit, Bounce, and Freeze of an Instrument track with Riffer instantiated is positioned correctly (PT-320606 / PT-320607)

  • MIDI FX Favorites no longer categorized as Audio Favorites (PT-318197)
