British microphone brand Sontronics has announced a range of new colours for Podcast Pro, alongside the availability of the XLR-USB premium-quality cable and ELEVATE desktop stand.

Since its launch at NAMM 2020, the Sontronics has shipped more than 10,000 Podcast Pro microphones, made at their south coast-based HQ. The Podcast Pro now comes in five new colours: cosmic grey, purple, blue, green and gold. These new colours were initially produced as a one-off - a fun way to create some cheer on social media during Christmas and New Year. But, within a matter of days the new colours had made such a buzz that the team at Sontronics decided to put them into production. Like the original red and black mics, the new colours are available at introductory price of £99 Inc. VAT.

Alongside the launch of these new colours, Sontronics has confirmed the availability of two new accessories that complement the Podcast Pro perfectly: XLR-USB and ELEVATE.

The XLR-USB cable was developed by Sontronics’ R&D team to give users reliable, professional results as well as plug-and-play usability. The result is a premium-quality cable that plugs into any computer (or even iOS devices via a separate adaptor) and combines super-low latency with high-quality A/D conversion and a clean, interference-free signal. The ELEVATE microphone stand is a multi-positional arm mount that will support any mic up to 1kg. It can be clamped to the edge of a desk or permanently fixed to a work surface with the supplied accessories. The angled joints allow you to position your mic wherever you need it, while the channels and clips along each arm keep cables neat and tidy. ELEVATE is priced at £95 inc. VAT.

The newest range of colours look amazing, and for a limited time the Podcast Pro is available for just £99, the price will be going up after a short introductory period.
