Toontrack has announced the release of a new EZX expansion delivering sounds that are both familiar and yet peculiar, making it an ideal collection for experimental sound design and creative beat making.
Marking the 62nd title in Toontrack’s massive collection of EZXs, Elements EZX delivers a multi-dimensional display of organic, electronic and viscerally evocative sounds with a total of 30 unique kits distributed across three conceptually different libraries, namely Earth, Space and Black Hole.
Produced, engineered and mixed by sound design artist Alex Shulga, Elements EZX features a carefully curated collection of analog drum machines and vintage synths layered with live percussion, field recordings and organic sounds involving anything from ice hitting a frozen lake to birds, dolphins and whales.
According to Toontrack, each sound was individually mixed and run through its own unique chains of outboard, effects and treatments to ensure that every single sample in a kit had its own harmonic space reserved. To add, each kit has a bespoke architecture of macro controls available in the mixer, enabling users to finesse its overall vibe as well as sample lengths and additional effect saturation on an instrument level.
In addition to the sounds, a collection of MIDI grooves tailored for each kit is provided, allowing you to hit the ground running on the way to your next beat.
