A new version of the Cloud Client Services application is now available for macOS and Windows OS ). Note that this version will fix the current Cloud Collaboration issues with Pro Tools. We have the details…
The Problem
Avid announced on 26th August 2022 that they have been investigating a recent Pro Tools Cloud Collaboration disruption and that had identified the issue.
On September 1st 2022 Avid announced they had resolved the issue with an update to their Cloud Client Services software.
Avid tells us that they have pushed Cloud Client Services version 22.7 to Avid Link. If you have enabled “Install Apps silently” and “Update Apps automatically”, then this update may already be installed on your Mac. If, however, you have chosen not to enable these settings, Avid tell us that Avid Link should still auto-launch the installer, and you can continue the installation from there.
Alternatively, can install it manually by downloading the installer by either going to your Avid Master Account using the button below or downloading it directly using the Download button below.
On a macOS computer, you can check the installed version on macOS using Get Info on the CloudClientServices.app in Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Cloud Client Services/
