Final Thoughts
Both Dan & James feel that these second generation Scarlett interfaces are a big step forward in mic pre quality and overall design from the previous Scarlett range. However, both Dan, James & Georgie (vocalist in the example) feel that the low output gain the headphone pre amps produce are the weakest links in all three of these interfaces.
You are going to be hard pressed to find another interface for the money with similar mic pre quality, usability and versatility in today's market.
