Pro Tools Expert Team member Julian Rodgers looks at the LX480 Complete Reverb from Relab, this plug-in recreates the iconic Lexicon 480L reverb, one of the few pieces of digital hardware to have achieved the desirable vintage status usually reserved for analogue hardware.

Featuring the same algorithms as the 480L, including the famous Ambience and Random Hall algorithms, this plugin adds some instant 80s to whatever audio you choose to pass through it. It can do subtle (though that's not something I associate with the 80s...) and in this review Julian visits some of the "Greatest Hits" of the Lexicon sound.

Highlights include the Ambience algorithm on drums and the effect of the Spin and Wander parameters which are unique to the Random Hall algorithm.
