Review - UVI UVX80 Synth Library Instrument

In this video review, Pro Tools Expert Deputy Editor Dan Cooper takes a look at UVI's latest Synth instrument - UVX80.

The UVX80 is based upon a popular mid 80's Japanese synth keyboard and comes bundled with over 250 patches.

The UVX80 feature set and GUI design are both typical UVI, great for regular users of UVI synth instruments as the UVI synth familiarity in this product will quickly diminish any kind of learning curve. There is a vast selection of presets that lend themselves more to rhymic styles of synth sounds. I found I only needed to hold a key down for 2 bars to get inspired to produce a song.

Watch the video to hear a single pad and synth bass patch in the content of a mix.
