From 2002 to 2012, Neil Hillman founded and led The Audio Suite from start-up to preferred supplier status with All3Media, the UK's largest Production Group; as well as BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, National Geographic and Discovery. By 2012 the audience for his soundtracks had exceeded 0.5 billion world-wide and generated huge growth in sales revenue for the company.
In 2012, Neil steered The Audio Suite's evolution from high-end audio post-production into a unique Sound Design practice, delivering audio solutions across a range of delivery platforms and channels, supported by audio production, post-production and sound design from two exceptionally appointed mixing rooms. The studios provide high-quality audio solutions for features, broadcast and corporate film makers, with location sound recording also available.
In 2015, underpinned by his experience of working on projects with complex workflow and delivery requirements, Neil added Consultancy as a service for film and TV production clients; and sport Outside Broadcast and event Host Broadcasters with commentary systems support, through an understanding of innovative production methodology such as Glensound with Dante networking. Clients for this kind of service include the Olympic Broadcasting Services, the Commonwealth Games, UEFA Europa and Champions Leagues, IAAF World Indoor Athletics and the Rugby World Cup; and commentary systems support typically includes taking responsibility in venue, Commentary Control Room (CCR) or Commentary Switching Centre (CSC) operations.
An Australian office opened in January 2016 to better serve a growing, global client-base and Neil happily divides his time between the UK and Australia, depending on client and project requirements.
