Throughout December we offered the opportunity for over 30 people to win a prize of your choice from an amazing bundle of prizes that we pulled together from our generous partners, worth around £30,000.
Each day, we took a closer look at each of the prizes in turn. Today we are looking at the ZAP II Bundle from Zynaptiq worth $1,499.
The competition closed on December 31st 2019 and we’re pleased to be able to announce the winner is Susan Pitts
Susan Pitts
I’m a hobbyist self-taught music producer with an interest in music technology and audio software. I have been learning music production for a number of years and make electronic / ambient music for fun. I occasionally tune / restore audio for a small number of clients and friends projects. My husband runs our main business which is renting out dry hire studio spaces to producers and songwriters so I pick up occasional jobs from our studio clients.
I have a small studio set up at home where I try and spend as much time as possible, I’m always learning and developing my skills using a range of plugins and kit, which include Ableton Live 10, UAD Apollo Twin with a few UAD plugins, Izotope RX5, Melodyne as well as a range of other interesing plugins. I like to discover and get to know new software and audio plugins.
Your competition was great with an amazing range of prizes, however I selected the Zynaptiq ZAP collection as the bundle looks like a unique set of plugins that I could experiment and get creative with. Pitchmap and Morph 2 I am particularly interested in for sound design and as creative tools - I’m not sure exactly how they will be used in my music but I am keen take time to explore and play with. Unveil might be a useful tool for some of my audio restoration tasks in addition to RX5. Wormhole looks very interesting and I am also keen to check out the Adaptiverb as this sounds like it could be a unique reverb.
